Service & Philanthropy
The Zeta Pi chapter of the Sigma Nu Fraternity has demonstrated a strong commitment to philanthropy by supporting the Family Promise of Lubbock foundation. Raising money to aid foundations and causes across the city of Lubbock. Through this philanthropic effort, the fraternity aims to make a lasting impact on the local community, addressing issues such as homelessness and family stability. Alongside financial contributions, Sigma Nu members dedicate extensive community service hours to Lubbock, fostering a deeper connection with the people they serve. The fraternity’s efforts extend to sponsoring events with sororities and hosting its own activities, like the popular Sigma Nu Slam volleyball tournament, to raise both awareness and funds. These initiatives showcase Zeta Pi’s dedication to giving back and underscore the power of teamwork in making a positive difference. Through this combination of fundraising, volunteering, and community-building events, Zeta Pi reinforces the core values of brotherhood and service, setting an example of impactful philanthropy within the Greek community and beyond.
